Shipping and Return Policies
Shipping is calculated as a flat rate, based on the weight of the items you are
purchasing. This is done by our shopping cart automatically, and requires
no additional work on your end -- all you have to do is add the items you would
like to purchase to your shopping cart, and the shopping cart will compute the
shipping charges for you automatically. All orders are shipping usually
the same day, but in some cases, can take as long as 2-3 business days to ship.
Items are shipped using FedEx in most cases, but can be shipped using USPS, or
UPS depending on circumstances.
shipped to P.O. boxes cannot be shipped via FedEx, or UPS.
Shipping for international orders is done slightly differently. For
Canadian orders specifically, there is no difference in price from a US based
order. This means that if you are Canadian, and you place an order with
us, we will charge the same freight charges that we would charge a customer
living in the United States. For other countries, at the moment, we are
trying something different. We are charging the same freight rates that we
charge to US and Canadian customers in an effort to assess whether or not we can
continue to do this, based on the amount of volume we process in orders.
This means that the more you order from us, the more we can continue to charge
flat shipping rates for all countries! This policy may be changed at any
time, and is currently effective as of June 1st, 2006.
All items can be returned in original packaging, unworn, 30 days from delivery
date, for a refund. You must
contact us to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization number to return
your products for refund. If you do not obtain a Return Merchandise
Authorization number, and simply attempt to return the item, the package will be
rejected, and you will have to pay to ship it to us again. So please, save
our company, and yourself some trouble, and just be sure to
contact us to obtain your Return Merchandise Authorization number -- it only
takes 5 minutes. Clearance sale items are sold final, and are not eligible
Important Notes About Our Return Policy:
All refunds are issued by company check, regardless of your original method of
payment. This policy is designed to prevent fraud. There is a 15%
restocking fee on all return orders. There are no exceptions to this
policy, so please do not ask if you can be exempt from the restocking fee.
Since our return policy is longer than most online lingerie retailers (most
offer 7-14 day returns), this gives our customers enough room to determine if
they like a product or not. Unfortunately, as is our experience in the
"brick-and-mortar" business arena, it also gives customers enough room to wear a
product, and then return it for their money back -- unscrupulously. The
restocking fee is designed to prevent that practice from taking place.
This policy is specific
to our Lingerie Line: If the item has been "tried on", it cannot, under
any circumstances be returned. This is State Law, and as such, has been
made part of our policy. If you are issued a Return Merchandise
Authorization number, and it is determined that the item has been "tried on",
you will not be refunded.
By purchasing any
merchandise from us, you agree to these policies, and authorize us to pursue
damages (including but not limited to, rebilling you for products sold in the
event of a chargeback) in the event that you do not adhere to these policies, or
attempt to circumvent them. Further, unless your order was placed
fraudulently (meaning someone stole your credit card or check book), you waive
your right to pursue chargeback privileges with your credit card issuer, and
agree that this policy can be used to defer any chargeback you place against us
that is not in line with our policies above. This means for example, if we
issue you a company check for your refund, you cash the check, and then you
attempt to charge us back for the merchandise through your credit card issuer,
which would be a double-refund, we reserve the right to inform your credit card
issuer that you agreed to these policies and that you have also waived your
right to charge us back for any merchandise, effectively holding yourself
responsible for the charge. To make a long story short, just be honest, like most of our customers are, and we'll get along just great!
